2016 Hawai’i STEM Summit – September 30, 2016

The purpose of the Summit is to connect workforce and education to align STEM career pathways as well as:
  • Hear from local industry and businesses: what are Hawai’i’s current and future STEM workforce needs?
  • Discuss how the Hawai’i Department of Education and UH can collaborate to align pathways to help students become successful in STEM fields.
Guest speakers include the Hawai’i Department of Education Superintendent, Kathryn Matayoshi, University of Hawai’i President, David Lassner, and business leaders in STEM fields.
