Proposed UH Tuition Schedule, 2017-18 through 2019-20

The University of Hawai‘i’s current tuition schedule ends in AY 2016-17. A three-year tuition schedule from AY 2017-18 through AY 2019-20 is being proposed. Public meetings will be held at UH campuses from late March 2016 through early May 2016 to share information on the proposed schedule and to receive feedback from students, faculty/staff, and the public.

The increases range from $0 to $312 per year. The university intends to use the proposed tuition increases to address deferred maintenance at UH Manoa and the UH community colleges and to establish a reserve fund for deferred maintenance at UH Hilo and UH West O‘ahu.

Based on the feedback received at the public meetings, the UH administration may revise its proposal. A final proposal will be presented to the Board of Regents at their JuLY 2016 meeting.

Public Meeting Schedule

Students, the university community, and the public are invited to listen to a presentation on the University's proposed tuition schedule and to present testimony (written and/or oral) at open public meetings that will be held at the times and places listed below.
Note: The public presentations are concluded.
