Proposed Administrative Rules Changes

Pursuant to Hawai‘i Revised Statutes Chapter 91, notice is hereby given that the University of Hawai‘i will hold public hearings relating to adoption of Chapter 20-26, Hawai‘i Administrative Rules, entitled "Public and Commercial Activities on Mauna Kea Lands" on the following dates, times, and locations:

Interested persons may present testimony at the time of the public hearing. Interested persons unable to attend the public hearing may submit written testimony regarding the proposed rules by mail to the UH System Government Relations Office at 2442 Campus Road, Administrative Services Building 1, Room 101, Honolulu, Hawai‘i 96822; by email at or through the University website at All submissions must be received at or prior to closing of the last scheduled public hearing.

If you are submitting testimony online or by email, we will be keeping those options open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, after the last hearing ends.

Persons who intend to present oral testimony may sign up at the beginning of any of the scheduled public hearings.

Any testimony that is submitted verbally or in writing, electronically or in person, for use in the public hearing process is public information. Please do not include private information that you do not want disclosed to the public.
