Archive photos
Photos from the External Affairs and University Relations archive may be borrowed for publication use by UH units or news media. Current archives may be viewed online. Contact the office for information about access.
Prints from file negatives, slides or digital files may be made at the client’s expense.
Photos taken before 1987 are archived in Hamilton Library.
Photo services
The photographer shoots journalistic event and feature photography in support of UH System communication initiatives and online publications. Requests for photo coverage will be considered according to UH System photographic needs. The office does not provide “scrapbook” photo services.
Email request, specifying the event or topic, including any elements that make the photo visually appealing, along with location, date/time and name/contact information for the person will serve as liaison and provide assistance during the shoot, including identification of the individuals in the photo and securing of photo releases.
One-week minimum advance notice is recommended.
Reprints
Reprints of prints appearing in EAUR online publications may be obtained for personal/non-commercial use on an at-cost, time-available basis. Contact the office with information identifying the photo requested, when and where it appeared and intended use.
