All Campus Council of Faculty Senate Chairs

The purpose of the University of Hawai‘i All Campus Council of Faculty Senate Chairs is to provide a formal, independent voice and organization through which the faculty of the University of Hawai‘i System can participate in the development and interpretation of systemwide policy, and to promote and improve coordination, communication and understanding among the faculty, students, community, administration and Board of Regents. The council consists of one senate chair from each of the faculty senates or equivalent faculty governance organizations from each campus, school and college of the University of Hawai‘i System

Student Caucus

The University of Hawai‘i Student Caucus advocates collectively for the interests and needs of students throughout the University of Hawai‘i system. Its members are students government organizations from the ten UH system campuses including the Graduate Student Organization from UH Manoa.

Puko‘a Council

The Kanaka Maoli within the University of Hawai‘i system are Native people of this land, unique by virtue of their ancestral ties to the ‘aina and their history, language, culture, knowledge and spirituality. Puko‘a Council is dedicated to increasing the number of Native Hawaiian students, faculty, staff and administrators in the university system to a percentage that mirrors the percentage of Hawaiians in Hawai‘i’s general population. Envisioning a University of Hawai‘i committed to the empowerment, advancement and self-determination of Kanaka Maoli through distinctly Hawaiian instruction, research and service, Puko‘a Council promotes the superior development of all aspects of Kanaka Maoli identity, including a pono spiritual, intellectual, cultural, economic and social well-being.
