Regents Scholarship Application
Application for University admission is a separate process. Students must submit the University of Hawaii Common Application Form directly to the Admissions and Records Office at their chosen campus and have official transcripts sent directly to that office. (The Admissions Office cannot use transcripts submitted to the Scholarship Committee and vice versa.)
Regents Scholars are selected solely on the basis of achievement. Students receiving a Regents Scholarship are eligible to apply for other awards, whether merit or need based. Although awards for other scholarships funded by the University MAY be rescinded if a student is selected for the Regents Scholarship, students with financial need are especially encouraged to file the FAFSA and apply for other scholarship and financial aid opportunities. The Regents Scholarship application will not place the applicant in consideration for other scholarships. Please apply for other awards through the Campus Financial Aid Services or the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
The deadline for receipt of the Regents Scholarship application is February 1. The applicant is responsible for insuring that all materials, including transcripts and letters of recommendation, are postmarked no later than Feb. 1. Only applications completed by the deadline will be considered.
