Health Standard Presentations

Our program has a unique partnership with the following schools:

Farrington High School
Kailua High School

McKinley High School

Nanakuli High School

Waipahu High School

Roosevelt High School

Each month, our students develop  health content presentations with the help of OME and DOE high school faculty.  Feedback from high school students have been positive; they appear to be retaining content knowledge after the medical student presentations.

If you would like to see the slides from the presentations, please use the links to the right.

Student PowerPoint Presentations

The SHEP students have developed slide shows to reinforce presentations made on each health content area.  Each month, this site will offer different presentations developed by our students.

Our slide show requires a fast internet connection.  If you are accessing the internet by telephone modem, the download may require 20 or more minutes.

To view the slides:
Left mouse click on your selection;  on the file download box, choose open to view the slide show, save to download to your hard drive. If you choose open, a new window will appear; use your left mouse button anywhere on the black background to progress the slides.  To return to this page, use the arrow key on the upper left hand corner of the window.
