Bridge to Hope (BTH) is a nationally recognized, model partnership between the University of Hawai'i and the Hawai'i State Department of Human Services (DHS) supporting post-secondary education as a means for welfare recipients to achieve life-long economic self-sufficiency.

Bridge to Hope ca assist with on-campus student employment and other student support services to help welfare (TANF) recipient students succeed in their educational goals.

BTH coordinator also offers advocacy with DHS and extensive referrals to campus and community-based resources to effectively address the triad of academic, personal, and financial challenges facing low-income student parents.

Bridge to Hope serves all 10 campuses of the U. H. System and is administratively housed at the flagship Manoa campus as part of the Women's Center and SEED office.
