The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Student Services Office is a campus resource center for students. Our purpose is to help students feel safe on campus and to ensure that LGBT people are an integral part of the University of Hawai'i.

Focused on student development and learning, LGBT Student Services offers trainings, includeing the Safe Zone program for allies of LGBT people; weekly supportive meetings for students; a resource library; a comfortable area in which to study; student advocacy and support, including professional response and referral services; a network of opportunities with various campus and community organizations; and planning of special events and educational programs related to LGBT issues.
