Student
Equity, Excellence and Diversity (SEED) administers, coordinates,
and provides programs that support students with disabilities,
native Hawaiians, underrepresented ethnic, women, academic
scholars and underprepared disadvantaged students, senior
citizens and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender students.

Early Intervention
Program. SEED administers two externally funded early
intervention programs:
- GEAR UP partnership
with Farrington High School
- Na Pua No'eau
for gifted and talented native Hawaiian children

Presidential Scholarchip programs
- Fun Factory
Scholarship
SEED provides administrative
support to systemwide and campus diversity committees on
campus climate, representation of faculty, staff, students,
and curriculum as well as the $100,000 systemwide President's
Diversity Initiative Fund.
