Return to Leaders Program

"I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to participate in the University of Hawai‘i Emerging Leaders Program. The knowledge that I gained this past year was instrumental in increasing my skills and leadership abilities. I know that had it not been for this program I would have never met some of the most amazing, talented, and hard working individuals within the University of Hawai‘i System. Knowing them and seeing all they accomplish has inspired me to continually improve both myself and my department."
Elena Alexander,
2007-08 Participant

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the Emerging Leaders program: meeting people from other units and campuses; learning about issues that changed my perspective and how I work; and developing a deeper understanding about how the UH system works. The program has inspired me to develop programs I hope will improve UH and has provided opportunities to connect with those interested in pursuing the same goals. This year has been invaluable, and I highly recommend it to everyone interested in improving higher education in Hawai‘i."

2007-08 Participant
