Pacific Congress on Marine Science and Technology
FRIENDS OF PACON
FRIENDS OF PACON, a fundraising idea
initiated by Dr. Lorenz Magaard, is an opportunity to make donations towards
PACON's operating expenses. Unlike the Endowment Fund which is for
scholarships, or the Student Travel Fund which goes to assist students
only, the money in the FRIENDS FOR PACON is used directly for the operating
costs of PACON.

ENDOWMENT FUND
In 1993, the PACON International Endowment
Fund was established to create an alternate funding source to maintain
PACON as a permanent forum of marine science, technology, and policy.
In the future, PACON would like to support scientists, engineers,
and policymakers from developing countries to participate in PACON conferences.

FUND
PACON International invites you to
donate to the Student Travel Fund to help defray transporation expenses
of graduate students world-wide who wish to attend PACON conferences.
