Pacific Congress on Marine Science and Technology
OCEAN DAY
The
Pacific Congress on Marine Science and Technology
Ocean Day was enacted by the State of Hawaii
Legislature. The first Wednesday of June was designated as Ocean
Day. Every year since 1995, the Governor has designated one day as
"Ocean Day," in recognition of the importance of the ocean to Hawaii.
The purpose of this Act is to designate Ocean Day as a permanent day of
recognition in Hawaii.
