The City and County of Honolulu provides organizations that
support community-based enterprises with the opportunity to
revitalize their communities through collaborative efforts
among residents and organizations. Through its various economic
development initiatives, CBED has provided more than $5M to
community economic development organizations and assists more

The program offers loans, grants and technical assistance
to eligible non-profit, geographic, cultural or economic-based
community groups. These groups can develop viable, sustainable
