Welcome to the Office of Public Health Studies (OPHS) at the University of Hawai‘i. Through its multidisciplinary and multicultural approach to instruction, research and community service, OPHS emphasizes the preparation of future public health leaders who are proficient at employing public health knowledge and skills in a culturally diverse world.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

OPHS offers master's degree programs in three areas of specialization: epidemiology, health policy and management, and social and behavioral health sciences and doctoral degrees focusing on community-based and translational research (DrPH) and epidemiology (PhD).

OPHS also administers the Global Health and Population Studies certificate program.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Fall registration dates for continuing, classified UHM students is April 18 – July 20. The MyUH Registration Timetable and the Fall 2012 Check Class Availability (the up-to-date online course listing) will be posted by April 5, after which students can go to the “Check My Registration Status” page on MyUH for their specific registration time assignment.

In the meantime, you may wish to review the tentative Fall 2012 PH Course Schedule Timetable.

 

University of Hawai‘i School of Public Health Alumni Association Scholarship is now accepting applications. Applications must be postmarked or received by Friday, June 29, 2012.
