Admissions
Students interested in being admitted to the Global Health
and Population Studies (GHPS) program should first contact
Misty Pacheco at the GHPS office (Biomed T-103; phone: (808)956-8836;
email: globhlth@hawaii.edu).
There are two types of admission:
1. For those who are currently UH Manoa Graduate Students
(Master's or Ph.D. level): Complete the Concurrent
Graduate Certificate Application Form.
2. For those who want to pursue the certificate independently
(without concurrently being enrolled in any graduate degree
program in UH): You need to follow the application process
for a new student through the Graduate Division. Since this
is a graduate program, the minimum requirement for admission
to the program is a Bachelor's Degree. Please see the Graduate
Admissions website for more information. Applicants should
submit their Statement
of Objectives directly
to the GHPS program.

Credit transfer from a different university
The Graduate Division does not allow the transferring of credits earned at another institution to a graduate certificate program. See http://manoa.hawaii.edu/graduate/content/transfer-pbu-credits.
