Star for Students
To review your UHM transcripts and academic history, including your progress towards meeting the GPR and credit requirements for graduation, utilize STAR for Students.

Registration for PH 699 Directed Reading/Research
To take a PH 699 course, students must first complete a PH 699 Content Form. Submit completed forms to OGSAS, Biomed D-204. OGSAS can then provide the instructor’s course reference number (CRN), which is needed to register for the class. PH 699 should be taken for Cr/NC rather than for letter grade due to the nature of the course content.

MPH students may count no more than 9 credits of 699 toward their degree. MS students may count no more than 6 credits.

Registration During the Semester of Graduation
Graduate students must be registered during the final semester of their program of study. To meet this registration requirement, MPH students may register for PH 500. MS students would need to register for at least one credit of PH 700.

An exception to this requirement will be made for students who completed all the degree requirements but failed to meet appropriate deadlines. To request this exception, students need to obtain a memo from the graduate chair and submit the memo via OGSAS to the Graduate Records Office. If approved, these students would then graduate the following semester, but would be exempt from having to register.
