Each fall and spring semester, SAPFB invites student organizations and UHM departments and programs to seek grants. Groups submit detailed proposals for funding specific programs. After meeting with representatives from the grant-seeking organizations to learn more about their projects, Board members review and make recommendations as to the amount of funding to grant each organization. Recommendations are forwarded to the Manoa Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs for approval.

The Student Activity and Program Fee Board provides financial support of co-curricular program and activities for University registered organizations, University departments and University affiliated programs. By its charter, the Board is also mandated to provide financial support to the Kennedy Theatre and the intramural sports program.

If you have received funding for the current semester, please review the Fiscal Procedures to see how you can claim your money. These forms will be explained to you during your Award Meeting with the SAPFB Advisor.
