Funding for Fall 2009 & Spring 2010

Dear Prospective Applicant:

SAPFB is a chartered student organization that has been officially delegated authority to make recommendations to the Manoa Chancellor regarding the allocation and use of the student activity and program fee. The Board is comprised of 11 members, eight of who are undergraduate and graduate students and three faculty/staff.

The purpose of SAPFB is to respond to the needs of all fee-paying students by providing financial support for co-curricular programs and activities, including Registered Independent Organizations (RIOs), University departments, and University-affiliated programs. Every fall and spring, SAPFB invites groups to apply for program grants for the next semester. After reviewing the applications and conducting public hearings, the Board carefully considers grant proposals and makes recommendations for approval to the Manoa Chancellor as to the amount of funding to award each applicant.

Please read the information below carefully before submitting your application. If you have questions or need assistance, contact the SAPFB Office, at 956-4842 or sapfb@hawaii.edu.
