Print Resources Inside the Library
Here are some resources and tips for finding print materials in Hamilton Library.
Hamilton Library uses the Library of Congress Classification Schedule. Most of the books about chemsistry can be found in this call number range:

Using Guided Search in the Hawai'i Voyager Catalog , type in the search terms: Chemistry Periodicals and select "Subject(SKEY)" from the pull down menu.

Index 1861-present with full text for dissertations 1997 to present
Includes bibliographic citations for the doctoral and master's work of authors from more than 1,000 graduate schools and universities dating back to 1861.
Index with some full text
Provides free online access to the full text of more than 137,000 articles. It is the second-largest free full-text science archive.
Index with some full text : 1995-present
An internet resource for scientific, technical and medical information. Using Science Direct you can access over 1,800 peer reviewed academic journals, search over 30 million abstracts from scientific articles and link out to articles from over 80 other publishers.
Index with citations/abstracts only : 1907-present
SciFinder Scholar provides access to Chemical Abstracts from 1907 to the present and covers all areas of chemistry and chemical engineering. Special software is required if accessing from outside of the library.
Index with some full text: 1997-present
provides access to Web versions of journals published by Springer.
Index (with citations/abstracts only) : 1980-present
A multidisciplinary index covering the journal literature of the sciences (Science Citation Index Expanded). Approximately 70% of the records have author abstracts.

An interactive "mind map" of chemistry and its subfields.
Material Data Safety Sheets
A free, online source of Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS). Alphabetical list of chemicals commonly found in undergraduate chemistry labs. Provides 16-section ANSI-style entries on over 250 chemicals.
