CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics
Find chemical and physical data of inorganic and organic compounds. This online database contains the data tables found in the 87th edition of theHandbook. The print copy of this edition is held in the Science & Technology Reference Desk.
The Data Center has the most comprehensive collection of statistics and publications related to Hawaii's aging population. The collection of statistics and references in Hawaii's aging is an on-going process, and the website is updated continually with the newest and latest information. For the books or full-text journal articles cited in the Center's publications, users are encouraged to check their availability through Hawaii Voyager or the Electronic Resources of the UH Manoa Library website.
Dissertations and Theses
1861-present:
A database that includes bibliographic citations for the doctoral and masters work of authors from over 1,000 graduate schools and universities dating back to 1861. Citations for dissertations from 1980 forward include abstracts. Full-text is available for dissertations from 1997 on.
Ebrary provides online access to over 22,000 books across many subjects. In science and technology the titles range from Schaum's instruction guides to scholarly monographs. Most titles are cataloged in the public catalog, Hawaii Voyager. To view a book, one must download the Ebrary reader, compatible on most operating systems.

Ebscohost is a multi-database system containing article abstracts from nearly 4,000 magazines and journals; complete text of articles is available for about half of these titles. The database Academic Search Premier covers many areas of scientific study. More specific science databases include Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection, Computer Source, Health Source: Nursing and Academic Edition, and Health Source: Consumer Edition.

To find a specific article, or search on a phrase, enter the title or phrase in quotes, e.g. "title of article". Going through the library url will allow you to access the full-text using the Fulltext @ My Library link.
GreenFILE
GreenFILE, a free database from EBSCO, indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well. UHM users should go through the eproxy link for access to licensed journals. Public access is available at http://www.greeninfoonline.com.

TGIF was established in 1983 by the United States Golf Association (USGA) Turfgrass Research Committee and the Michigan State University Libraries, and is now maintained by the Turfgrass Information Center, a division of MSU Libraries. The ultimate goal of TGIF is to provide access to all published materials reporting on aspects of turfgrass and its maintenance.
