• Farmer's Bookshelf: Information on Tropical Plant Production in Hawai'i
  Information sheets on fruits, home garden vegetables, ornamentals, and commercial vegetables. The pages on specific crops are comprehensive; topics dealt with for each crop include: climatic requirements; cultivars; planting; culture; disease and insect control; fertilization; harvesting and handling; and, marketing. • International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)
  IRRI provides news articles and research updates; the RiceFacts section includes statistics and ecosystem information.

• The Overstory: Agroforestry Ejournal
  The free e-mail agroforestry journal for practitioners, researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts is archived on this site. Each edition includes project development strategies, brief book recommendations, species highlights, and internet links to helpful information for agroforesters.

• EXTOXNET - EXtension TOXicology NETwork
  This site provides a variety of information about pesticides including access to Pesticide Information Profiles, Toxicology Information Briefs, Toxicology Issues of Concern, Factsheets, and more.

• Hawaii Pesticide Information Retrieval System
  The Hawaii Pesticide Information Retrieval System (HPIRS) is an index to agricultural-use pesticide labels licensed for sale in Hawaii by the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture. Database can be searched by active ingredient or by site or crop.

• Knowledge Master
  This database, developed by Extension entomologists at UH, contains information sheets, often including photographs, of urban and crop pests found in Hawai'i.

• AgNIC: Agriculture Network Information Center
  AgNIC is a searchable guide to quality agricultural information on the Internet as selected by the National Agricultural Library, land-grant universities, and other institutions.
• AgriGator -- University of Florida
  Home Page of the Institute of Food and Agricultural Science at the University of Florida; it provides access to information on Florida agriculture and links to many other agricultural sites.
• CRIS: Current Research Information System
  CRIS is the U.S. Department of Agriculture's documentation and reporting system for ongoing and recently completed research projects in agriculture, food and nutrition, and forestry. Projects are conducted or sponsored by USDA research agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, the state land-grant university system, other cooperating state institutions, and participants in a number of USDA research grant programs.
• Food & Fertilizer Technology Center (FFTC)
  Searchable database of full-text reports and newsletters about sustainable agriculture in Asia from FFTC. Most available in HTML format only; some also available as PDF files. Reports cover livestock, plant protection, soils and fertilizers, vegetables and fruit, grain and root crops, food processing, post-harvest technology, and farm management.

  Links to resources on all aspects of agriculture in Hawaii.
• International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (IPGRI)
  This site provides access to a searchable database of germplasm collections. The Downloadable information resources section includes full text publications, most in PDF format:
  • The Electronic Seed Storage Behaviour Compendium
  • Crop Descriptor Lists including banana and coffee
  • Technical Guidelines for the Safe Movement of Germplasm, including banana (Musa sp.), cassava, coconut, edible aroids, sugarcane, vanilla, and yam
  • Promoting the Conservation and Use of Underutilized and Neglected Crops including peach palm, pili nut, sago palm and yam bean

• New Zealand Digital Library
  Produced by University of Waikato, this digital library contains several collections with full-text documents and books relevant to tropical agriculture including the World Environmental Library and the Food and Agriculture Organization collection. Searchable on titles, chapters, and paragraphs of the digital documents.
• PEOPLE: Portable Extension Office for Program Literature Exchange (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, University of Guam)
  Links to full-text agriculture documents on the Web with an emphasis on tropical island environments.
