“Happy Holidays” Party

Following the success of our first three events celebrating the University of Hawaii in Second Life, we’re hoping you’ll join us in costume for our Happy Holidays party! Here are the photos from some of the previous parties.

Join us on December 11th to meet University of Hawaii Second Life users (students and faculty and researchers) from various departments and see our island, which replicates part of the Manoa campus and is used for meetings, classes and research. We will have Linden cash prizes for the best seasonal costumes and a series of games and activities.

An orientation session will be held at 3pm for new users. To attend you will need to download the Second Life program ( and have an account, both free (see below for instructions).

3:00 – 4 pm New Avatar Orientation (Sam Joseph)
4:00 – 5 pm Communications Workshop (Sam Joseph)
5:00 – 5:45 SL Games! (Diane Nahl)
6:00 – ?:00 Dancing the night away (DJ Becca Imako)
