University of Hawaii Second Life is back for the year 2010! Following the great success we’ve had from our various events last year, we are back again to offer an even more exciting and fun social event this year. We are looking forward towards creating different types of virtual world events, which offer learning experiences, social networking space, while promoting the awareness of Second Life where users can learn and have a fun time simultaneously. Please visit various websites listed below to find out about our events during last year.
Join us on February 12th to celebrate this year’s first event and to meet University of Hawaii Second Life users (students and faculty and researchers) from various departments and see our island, which replicates a part of the Manoa campus and is used for meetings, classes and research.
A meet and greet session will be held at 4:30pm for new users. To attend you will need to download the Second Life program (http://www.secondlife.com) and have an account, both free (see below for instructions).
