Join us on April 30th to celebrate the end of the semester event and to meet University of Hawaii Second Life users (students and faculty and researchers) from various departments and see our island, which replicates a part of the Manoa campus and is used for meetings, classes and research.
A meet and greet session will be held at 4:00pm for new users. To attend you will need to download the Second Life program (http://www.secondlife.com) and have an account, both free (see below for instructions).
4:00-4:15 pm – Meet and Greet
4:15-4:45 pm – “A Virtual Field Trip to the Latino History Smithsonian Museum in SL” with Rebecca Meeder, M.Ed.
4:45-5:15 pm – Socializing and Dancing with DJ Becca Imako
Info boards about various places in Second Life that reflect Mexican culture will be available in the courtyard in front of the POST Building.
