Two major burglaries were reported on 9/11/07 to Campus Security and HPD. They occurred in the Kauiokahaloa Iki Faculty Housing Condominiums on Lowrey Avenue. Both occurred sometime during the day of 9/11/07 and were discovered by the occupants when they returned home that evening.
There is evidence that both homes were forcibly broken into and the contents ransacked. In both cases it appears that only jewelry was taken. These crimes are classified as Burglary in the First Degree due to the amount of valuables taken.
All Faculty Housing residents are cautioned to double-check your units and report any suspicious persons or activities to Campus Security at 956-6911.
