To prevent bike thefts, we recommend that you take the following precautions:

1. ALWAYS lock your bike if it will be left unattended, even for a few minutes.
2. Secure the bike to a fixed object, in a well-lit and designated area.
3. Use a good quality lock. A U-Type Lock is recommended.
4. Always remove or secure you components and accessories.
5. Register your bike and maintain its records.

Report any suspicious person(s) or activities to UH Campus Security at 956-6911, or use one of our Emergency Call Boxes located in various areas of the campus.
