UH Announcement - Reward offered for info about damaged construction tower crane

DCK Pacific Construction is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for damaging its tower crane at the UH Manoa campus.

The tower crane, located at the Information Technology Center job site on Correa Road, was discovered damaged on the morning of Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

The Honolulu Police Department is investigating this incident involving criminal property damage and trespassing. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call HPD at 911.

University of Hawai'i Names First Female Campus Security Captain

University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Campus Security and Emergency Management Department announces the appointment of its first female captain, Alberta J.K. Pukahi. Capt. Pukahi is a 25-year veteran of the University’s Security office, where for the last eight years she served as a Sergeant and worked on cases of the most sensitive and complex nature, including sexual assaults.
