This is an important message about your safety and security.

The University will conduct an integrated campus-wide test of its emergency communications capabilities on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 9:30 a.m.

The following will occur:

1) Test EMAIL messages will go out to all students, faculty, staff and vicinity contacts.

2) Test TEXT messages will be sent to those who have signed up to receive emergency TEXT messages at www.hawaii.edu/alert.

3) The UH Mānoa home page at http://manoa.hawaii.edu, social media accounts, and the UH emergency hotline at 956-0001 will be updated to reflect the test.

4) Campus Security will test its vehicle speakers near Varney Circle.

All members of the UH Mānoa community are urged to sign up to receive emergency TEXT alerts (if you have not already done so), by going online to the website at http://www.hawaii.edu/alert.

If you have already signed up, log in at http://www.hawaii.edu/alert to ensure that your contact information is up-to-date.  You may test your cell phone information by sending a test message from the website to your phone.  If you are having technical trouble with UH Alert, see the article at http://www.hawaii.edu/askus/1363 or send an email to em-info@lists.hawaii.edu.
