The Service Learning Program maintains ties with over 90 community organizations to help match students with current projects within the community. If you're ready to make a difference, we're ready to provide you with the resources and information you need to succeed.

2007-2008 AGENCY DIRECTORY

The purpose of the this directory is to encourage the community members of the University of Hawaii at Manoa to become involved in Service Learning activities. The agency listing is composed of a variety of diverse opportunities for individuals to take part in. The objective of this directory is to motivate the campus community to seek learning opportunities outside of the classroom, while making a difference in the lives of others in the community.

You may either fax the completed form to our office at (808) 956-3394, or fill out the form-fillable PDF, save the file to your computer, and email the file as an attachment to slp@hawaii.edu.

GROUP PROJECTS

For groups of two or more students, the Service Learning Program can help you find one-day activities in your community. These projects provide students the opportunity to complete projects at an intensive pace. Past projects have included holiday parties for hospitalized children, tutoring for elderly adults, and construction and maintenance services for non-profit community outreach organizations.
