SHAPS Graduate Conference
Each spring the School of Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Studies sponsors a graduate conference.
The purpose of the conference is to showcase current graduate research in Asia and the Pacific from diverse regional and disciplinary perspectives, from the University of Hawai'i and beyond.

To encourage participation, monetary prizes are offered for the best papers on: China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Pacific. In addition, the Moscotti prize is awarded to the two best papers from the University of Hawai'i.
