National Accreditation Continues for University Health Services - 08.18.05

In August, 2005, University Health Services Manoa achieved continuing accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Accreditation involves an extensive on-site, peer-based survey of facilities and services and passing a series of nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care. The Health Service received a second three-year accreditation, the highest level granted by the AAAHC. Lily Ning, M.D., Director of the Health Service states, “Accreditation underscores our long-standing commitment to providing the highest possible quality of care to the community we serve. We are very pleased to have our efforts recognized.”
