Dr. Alan Hawk received his medical degree from Harvard University, and residency training in psychiatry at Stanford Medical Center, UCLA and Queen's Medical Center. He is board certified in Psychiatry.

Dr. Hawk has extensive clinical and medical administration experience in the private sector before joining the Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC) in 2002. He provides part-time clinical psychiatry services at the UHSM. He holds a clinical professor appointment at John A. Burns School of Medicine.
