| WOMEN'S HEALTH - FEES & INSURANCE
We strive to keep the charges reasonable and affordable. If you have health insurance, claims will be submitted to your insurance plan*. If you do not have health insurance, or if your insurance plan does not cover family planning or preventive services, you will be charged according to the type of service provided. Family planning services and physical exams have separate fee schedules from the general medical clinic visit fees. Initial gynecology exams with a PAP smear cost $78.00 and annual gynecology exams with PAP smear cost $68.00. An initial exam includes a PAP smear, general physical, pelvic and breast exams, gonorrhea and chlamydia testing, blood count, urine test, and cholesterol screening. Additional tests may be necessary if warranted by symptoms or findings. Non-students without medical insurance will be charged $110.00 for initial exams with PAP smear and $98.00 for annual exams with Pap smear. Contraceptive pills, Nuvaring, and Evra patch prices range from $18.00-$22.00. Depo provera injection cost $40.00. Emergency contraception (Plan B) cost $18.00. Be sure to notify WHC staff if you do not wish to receive mail regarding your WHC visits. * If you do not wish a claim to be sent to your insurance plan, notify the WHC staff.
