[RESOLVED] UH West Hawaii INET fiber move

Fiber feeding all services to UH West Hawaii will be relocated to a different path by Oceanic Time Warner starting at 0900 HST 2009-11-20. All connectivity to UH West Hawaii will be down during this time. Additionally, INET10G network providing services for UH, DOE and the State will be down to the Big Island. UH Hilo and Hawaii Community College network traffic will automatically reroute through the alternate microwave path.

[RESOLVED] UHM: Admin Services 1 and 2 Network Upgrade

Maintenance will be performed on the Admin Services 1 and 2 bulding networks. During this period there will be a 5-10 minute outage as new equipment is installed on the network.

[RESOLVED] UHM: Wireless Network at Campus Center

Maintenance will be performed on the wireless network at the Campus Center. Wireless users may experience a 5-10 minute outage as the wireless access points are upgraded on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

[RESOLVED] Manoa Wireless Maintenance

Network maintenance will be performed on the Manoa wireless network. During this time, Manoa wireless users may experience a 15 - 30 minute outage as the controller is changed. Maintenance is being performed to address an intermittent slow response issue when logging on to the Manoa wireless.

The connections to the following networks or systems will be migrated to a new router during our regularly scheduled maintenance window. There will be a 1 - 5 minute outage affecting the following systems or networks as they are individually moved to the new router. Networks: - Manoa ResNet network - State NGN private network Servers/Applications: - Commerce Point servers for Superquote applications - Departmental webservers housed at ITS - UHUnix2
