DESCRIPTION:'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was released on Eid in 2015 and went on to become the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. The movie delves into critical issues of Hindu-Muslim religious tensions and India-Pakistan relations, but also presents a touching story about transcending difference and even borders.\n\nHulking megastar Salman Khan essays the title role of Bajrangi, a simple and kind man who disappointed his father by failing at school, and flopping as a wrestler due to extreme ticklishness. Sent to the colorful lanes of Old Delhi to find a job, Bajrangi turns to a devout worship of the Hindu monkey god Hanuman, and also meets the alluring Rasika (Kareena Kapoor). The story takes a twist when Bajrangi meets a lost and mute six-year-old girl (an adorable Harshaali Malhotra as "Munni"), who was separated from her mother on the Indian side of the border before their train continued home to Pakistan. Initially shocked when he realizes the girl is a Kashmiri Muslim from the enemy country, Bajrangi--together with a Pakistani reporter played brilliantly by Nawazuddin Siddiqui--makes a pledge to reach Munni home to her village and family.\n\nThis is the final movie this semester in the 15th UH Bollywood film series. We'll be on hiatus in 2016-17, so see everyone back again in fall 2017 with a fresh new crop of films!
