DESCRIPTION:In September 2015, after three years of negotiations and debate, 193 countries agreed to a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targeted at ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all by 2030. The agreement expresses a consensus by governments that the SDGs can only be achieved with the involvement of all stakeholders, including the private sector, civil society, and academia. This presentation will provide an overview of current stakeholder activities and identify pathways that will facilitate their implementation of the SDGs.\nDr. Dina Wahyuni is a Lecturer in Accounting at Swinburne Business School, Melbourne, Australia. Dina holds a Ph.D. in carbon strategies and management practices from the University of South Australia. Her research interests include sustainable business, sustainability education, carbon emissions trading impacts on business strategy and reporting, sustainable finance, and education for sustainable development.
