This chain of actions and reactions is causing damages to basic aspects of human life such health, food, water, infrastructure, economy and security. In this presentation, I describe global scale analyses into already observed impacts on humanity from multiple climate hazards that are being antagonized by our ongoing emission of greenhouse gases. I also describe projections of these hazards under alternative scenarios, which suggest that we are creating a planetary environment in which such impacts will be difficult to escape.
