DESCRIPTION:Manoa Dining Services presents Flavors of Colombia, a tasting event on October 24th  from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Campus Center Lanai. The event will feature authentic Colombian dishes prepared by Chef Juliàn Lamprea, who is visiting from Colombia.\n\nLamprea will prepare dishes from his native country, Colombia. The highlight of Flavors of Colombia will be Bandeja Paisa, a popular Colombian dish consisting of rice topped with a fried egg and surrounded by pork belly chicharrón, fried plantain, Colombian chorizo, red beans and avocado. \n\nThe Global Chef event is open to the public. Guests can purchase a food-only passport for $20.00, as well as a food and sample beer or wine flight passport for $29.00.
