In this presentation, Dr. Richey will discuss Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in STEM, addressing the problem topics of unconscious bias, conscious bias, harassment, and how each is impacting our community. Dr. Richey will share the results of the Survey on Workplace Climate conducted by the American Astronomical Society Committee on the Status of Women in Astronomy, which sought to discover whether scientists in the astronomical and planetary science communities experienced a hostile work environment.
