DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Zotero\n\nThis workshop will introduce Zotero, a free, easy-to-use tool for collecting, organizing, and citing your research sources.\n\nPresented by Brian Richardson\nHamilton Library, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences Reference\nNote: the library is closed at the time of the session, so the workshop will be held at St. John Plant Science Lab Room 11 (ground floor, across Maile Way from the library)\n\nTopics will include:\n\n  - Adding references and PDFs to a Zotero library\n  - Organizing and managing references using collections\n  - Creating Notes\n  - Inserting citations and creating a bibliography in Microsoft Word or Google Docs\n\nParticipants must sign up for a Zotero account and install the Zotero stand-alone program and browser connector on their computers prior to the workshop (www.zotero.org).\n\nTechnical help installing Zotero will be available from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Workshop is from 5:30 to 7 p.m.\n\nBring your own computer. \n\nLimited computers are available if necessary. \n\nTo register, please email Brian Richardson at richards@hawaii.edu\n
