These models are particularly well-suited for high-dimensional data including video, time-series, and graphs. I will discuss the ways in which my group is applying deep learning to the physical sciences, including oceanography, atmospheric sciences, and climate models.\n\n\nBio:\n\n\nPeter Sadowski is an Assistant Professor of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Hawaii Manoa. He completed his Ph.D. and Postdoc at University of California Irvine, and his undergraduate studies at Caltech.
