DESCRIPTION:An associate professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Camilo Mora has authored over 70 scientific publications, three of which have been among the top 100 science stories in the world in 2011, 2013 and 2017. His work has also been featured in The New York Times, Newsweek, Time, Fortune and CNN.\n\nAsryelle Mora Rollo is a 7th grade student at Punahou School and the genius behind the Carbon Neutrality Project. She was recently acknowledged by the City & County of Honolulu for her work restoring native Hawaiian forests for carbon sequestration.\n\nTheir lecture will highlight carbon neutrality as a solution to climate change, and how the Mora Carbon Neutrality Team is working to make Hawaii the first carbon neutral location in the world.
