Prior to this, she completed her MA in Anthropology at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. \n\nIn Time, A Writer follows an aspiring writer's questions as she grapples with the complexities of life writing such as the meaning of time in writing; the connection and disconnection between the child self and adult self; and the prefigured narrative that writers in the US are encouraged to produce--especially in the service of an American myth of freedom. She will be reading sections of this essay that was awarded the Biography Prize and will be joined in conversation with Dr. Ruth Dawson.
