DESCRIPTION:The newest episode of Hawai'i Sea Grant's Voice of the Sea television series will focus on monk seals and toxoplasmosis. In this episode we are looking at the connections between humans, cats, monk seals, and the disease toxoplasmosis. Monk seals have lived in Hawaiʻi for over three million years, and their population has been severely depleted by human influences and habitat loss, and now death from toxoplasmosis.
