DESCRIPTION:Join us for active conversations with students from Eikei University in Hiroshima, Japan. The sessions will be 90 minutes. The first 40 minutes will be an interactive presentation by a scholar in the field on the topic listed above, and then followed by structured conversations in English with students in Japan.\n\nDeveloping cross-cultural understanding assists in becoming more culturally aware. This can be a continual process and it can help to have curiosity, an open mind, a willingness to ask questions, a desire to learn about the differences that exist between cultures, and an openness to becoming conscious of one’s own culturally shaped values, beliefs, perceptions, and biases.\n\n--------------------------------------\n\nCross-Cultural Conversations themes, dates, times, and locations are listed below. You will receive the Zoom login a day before and on the day of the event itself. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as possible.
