Autodesk Licensing Program

Information Technology Services (ITS) has established a site license contract for the Autodesk software under the "Autodesk Design Institute" Program. University of Hawaii (UH) faculty and staff may purchase this annual site license with departmental funds, and is for on campus use only.

This 'License' is the "right to use" the Autodesk software for the duration of the current UH Fiscal Year, beginning July 1st through June 30th of the following year. This is an annual license and fees are not prorated. Please note that the software can be used ONLY when your license(s) are current under this program.

  • The cost for each module per machine is $250.00 per year
  • For computer labs with 5 or more machines, each module is $200.00 per year

There are three different licenses available. Each module contains a suite of Autodesk programs:

  1. Design and Drafting Module
  2. Mechanical Design Module
  3. Infrastructure Design Module

Please check your computer to see if you meet the the system requirements of the software you intent to install prior to purchasing the site license.

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Please complete the AutoDesk Licensing Order Form (PDF Fillable Version - requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

  2. Payment: UH Interdept Orders, RCUH Purchase Orders and UH Foundation PO/Reqs are accepted. Please use the address in Step #4 for the Vendor Address. List each module that you are ordering as separate items on the payment.
      Example:
      Autocad Design and Drafting Module License

    NOTE: Tax and shipping fees are NOT needed.
    Cash or credit cards are NOT accepted.

  3. Send the completed Payment and Autocad Licensing Order Form to the following address:

  4. When ITS receives your order, you will be notified via email that your payment has been processed. After you receive the email confirmation, please contact the ITS Site License Office at (808) 956-2404 or sladmin@hawaii.edu], to schedule a pick up appointment for the loan software, or to have it sent by Certified Mail (off-campus/Neighbor Islands). Please note, that obtaining your software is determined by first come, first served basis. If the requested software is not available for loan, you will be placed on a waiting list.

Now Available:
  • Personal copies of AutoCAD can be purchased from the UH Bookstore or a retailer.
