ESRI Virtual Campus Courses


Virtual Campus Subscription for Site Licenses

The UH license agreement with ESRI includes an ESRI Virtual Campus Standard Subscription. This subscription provides all faculty, staff, and students of the University of Hawaii (UH) system with free, unlimited-seat access to online courses authored by ESRI at ESRI Virtual Campus.

Courses authored by third parties .academic and industry specialists .and courses that are instructor-led or instructor-mentored are not included but may be purchased separately by either individuals or the Institution.

Virtual Campus courses teach a variety of topics related to geographic information systems (GIS) and provide hands-on training for the ESRI GIS software installed at UH through the ITS Site License Program. Instructors will find these courses an invaluable resource for themselves and for students. For a listing of available courses for UH, please see below. How to Enroll in Virtual Campus Courses:

  1. Decide on the course(s) that you are interested from the list below. (For the latest listing, visit: ESRI Virtual Campus Standard Subscription)
  2. Send an email to sladmin@hawaii.edu with the name of the course(s) you would like to register for.
  3. A Course Access Code will be emailed to you for each class that you register for.
  4. After receiving the codes, visit the ESRI Virtual Campus site to create a membership, and start your course or workshop.
