What is the difference between Windows 10 Education and Windows 10 Enterprise? |
Windows 10 Education is essentially the same as Windows 10 Enterprise. The "Education" version is meant for use in school environments, while the "Enterprise" is used in business environments. The key difference is that Windows 10 Enterprise uses “Long Term Servicing Branch,” which postpones Windows Updates that provide new features for years, while continuing to receive security updates only. |

How do I install Windows 10? | The contact person listed on the Customer Information Sheet can email the ITS Site License Office at sladmin@hawaii.edu to request for a download link for the software. You can request for the .ISO file (image file of the installer) or the installer as a compressed file (zip file). |
I have an active Windows Education/Ent SA License. How do I upgrade to Windows 10? | If your Windows SA was valid past the release date of Windows 10 (7/29/2015), you are eligible to upgrade your Operating System to Windows 10. With SA, you have the choice of installing either Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Education (Ent). To upgrade, email the ITS Site License at sladmin@hawaii.edu for the appropriate Activation Key and download link for the installation software. You can request for the .ISO file (image file of the installer) or install file as a compressed file (zip file). |
