The purpose of the SLS Letter is to keep channels of communication open between alumni, faculty, staff, and sudents. It also contains announcements of happenings in the field of SLS/SLA/ESL, such as meetings and relevant conferences.

The Department publishes the SLS Letter (formerly ESLetter) approximately once a year. It is available only onlne at the Department's website.

Alumni should be sure to keep the Department advised of their email addresses in order to receive electronic announcements of the latest edition. The Editor warmly welcomes any news items concerning the work and life of alumni, including photos. Alumni submissions enhance the Department and keep you connected to your SLS ohana.
